The Gabbeh Story When the old Gabbehs became rare, Gholamreza Zollanvari started to work together with the Gashgai Nomads and produced new ones. Additionally he had the idea of producing the Gabbeh with Jajim is made out of flat woven carpet strips which are then woven together and form a zigzag pattern. They were used as table cloths or curtains. handspun wool, vegetable dyes and in european sizes, which was the break-through for the Gabbehs. He was always a step ahead of competitors and copiers by inventing modern designs, new products and interesting sizes. That is why, still today, Gholamreza is called ?the father of Gabbeh?.
